How float, stickers, and trade locks change real inventory value

Steam's estimated inventory value is basically Monopoly money.
If you are trying to cash out or trade up, the raw number Steam shows you is almost never what you will actually get in your bank account. Real cash value comes down to liquidity, overpay potential, and which marketplace you use.
